The production line of powdered compost and granular organic fertilizer needs to comprehensively consider the selection of raw materials, equipment configuration and process flow to ensure that the fertilizer produced is of high quality and high fertilizer efficiency.
Raw material selection
Organic fertilizer raw materials are mainly organic waste, which needs to be decomposed and harmless. Common raw materials include:
Basic raw materials
Livestock and poultry manure (chicken manure, cow manure, pig manure, etc.): high nitrogen source, needs to be dehydrated to a moisture content of ≤60%. Crop straw (corn stalks, rice straw): carbon source, crushed to 3-5cm before use. Kitchen waste: requires oil separation and crushing pretreatment. Mushroom residue (edible fungus waste): contains lignin, and the C/N ratio needs to be adjusted (25:1~30:1). Humic acid: improves fertilizer efficiency, and the addition amount is 5%~10%. Microbial agents (EM bacteria, Bacillus subtilis): fermentation accelerators, added at 0.1%~0.3%. Mineral additives (phosphate rock powder, potassium feldspar): supplement trace elements. pH regulator (lime, gypsum): control pH 6.5~8.0.

1. Powder production equipment
Dehydrator (screw extrusion type): treat feces to a moisture content of ≤60%.
Crusher (hammer type): crush straw to 3-5mm.
Trough turner (with aeration system): fermentation cycle 15-20 days, temperature 55-70℃.
Chain crusher: secondary crushing to 80-100 mesh.
Drum screening machine (20 mesh screen): remove uncomposted impurities.
Double-shaft mixer: evenly mix bacterial agents and additives.
Automatic quantitative packaging machine (accuracy ±0.5kg).
2. Granule production equipment
Disc granulator (inclination angle 45-55°, speed 12-18r/min): suitable for sticky materials. Drum granulator: suitable for large-scale continuous production.
Rotary dryer (hot air temperature 80-120℃): moisture content reduced to ≤15%.
Cooler (countercurrent cooling tower): particle temperature reduced to room temperature.
Spheronization machine (optional): improve particle roundness.
Vibration screening machine (grading 4-6mm qualified particles).
Coating machine (coating anti-caking agent).
Powder process flow
Raw material pretreatment → Mixing and blending (C/N ratio) → Aerobic fermentation (turning + aeration) → Crushing → Screening → Adding bacterial agent → Mixing → Packaging
Key parameters: Fermentation temperature ≥55℃ for 5 days, maturity (seed germination rate ≥80%).
Pellet process
Powder raw materials → mixing and conditioning (water content 40%-50%) → granulation → drying → cooling → screening → coating → packaging
Granulation control: disc granulation requires the addition of a binder (such as bentonite 2%-5%); drying temperature ≤120℃ to avoid nutrient loss.
Reasonable selection of raw materials and equipment, and adjustment of technical parameters according to actual conditions can achieve efficient and low-cost organic fertilizer production while meeting environmental protection and quality standards.
