Blending Method

Blended fertilizer refers to mixed fertilizer containing two or more nutrients. The product has two forms: powder or granules. The nutrient ratio is determined according to the crop type, target yield, soil and climate conditions, and can meet the growth and development of different crops.

Powdered Compound Fertilizer

The production of powdered compound fertilizers must strictly control the reaction of the ingredients, especially to reduce the moisture in the basic fertilizer (mainly superphosphate) and avoid using basic fertilizers that will produce strong reactions. Compared with granular compound fertilizers, powdered compound fertilizers are prone to agglomeration, which can cause blockage of materials in the hopper and drip irrigation. Therefore, powdered compound fertilizers are gradually replaced by granular compound fertilizers.

Bulk Blended Fertilizer

Bulk blended fertilizer, also known as BB fertilizer, is usually composed of more than two nutrients to provide comprehensive nutrients for crops.

BB fertilizers are generally divided into two types, one is mixed BB fertilizer and the other is compound BB fertilizer.

1. Mixed BB fertilizer: Mixed BB fertilizer is a mixture of two or more different single nutrient fertilizers, such as nitrogen-phosphorus binary compound fertilizer, nitrogen-potassium binary compound fertilizer, etc. The mixed BB fertilizer can meet the nutrient needs of different crops at different stages of growth.

2. Compound BB fertilizer: Compound BB fertilizer refers to the combination of different types of nutrients in the production process to form a fixed ratio of nutrient elements, such as nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium ternary compound fertilizer, nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium-boron quaternary compound fertilizer, etc. Compound BB fertilizer can provide more precise nutrient supply according to crop needs.
